Most conventional kitchen sponges are made with plastic—which means every time you scrub a pan, microplastics are releasing into your water, your dishes, and eventually your food. This sponge skips all of that. It’s fully plastic-free, plant-based, and built to handle the same messes you’d throw at any conventional sponge.

The dual-sided design does the work: a natural loofah side for scrubbing stuck-on food and a cellulose side for general washing and wiping. Hand-sewn with cotton thread instead of plastic glues or adhesives, it holds together through regular use and repeated sanitizing cycles. When it’s done, it’s fully compostable—no plastic headed to the landfill.

Sanitizing is straightforward: run it through the dishwasher or drop it in boiling water. No special treatment required.
