Hi, I'm Erin.
I came to this work from two directions at once.
The first was food. Once I started paying attention to what was actually in what I was eating — not just whether it looked healthy, but what was in it — I couldn't stop asking the same question about everything else. My cleaning products. My skincare. The air in my own home.
The second was construction. I've spent years in the industry, watching beautiful homes get built and finished to a high standard — and filled with materials that off-gas chemicals for months or years after move-in. Composite wood. Treated flooring. Paints and adhesives that introduce compounds into the indoor air that the families living there have no idea are present.
A beautifully finished home can have worse indoor air quality than the street outside. Most people have no idea. No one tells you this when you move in. There's no disclosure. The assumption of safety is built into the transaction — and it isn't warranted.
Native Manor exists to close that gap. The name reflects the philosophy: native — stripped back to what's essential and fundamental. Manor — the home, the space where life actually happens.
I built this so you don't have to spend years figuring it out the way I did.
