Most comforters make a trade-off — down is warm but not plant-based and often not traceable, synthetic fill is consistent but petroleum-derived and heat-trapping. This one solves both sides of that problem. The Bamboo Comforter uses a 100% CleanBamboo® Lyocell shell and bamboo fiber fill throughout — entirely plant-based, from the outside in.

The shell fabric is the same smooth, sateen-like CleanBamboo® Lyocell used across the bedding line — breathable, temperature regulating, and silk-like against skin. The bamboo fiber fill extends those same properties through the body of the comforter, so it doesn't just feel good on the surface. Bamboo fiber naturally responds to body temperature rather than trapping heat, which means it keeps you warm without the overheating that down and synthetic fills are prone to — particularly relevant for people who run warm or sleep with a partner who does.

It comes in two weights: Summer (200gsm) for warmer months or warmer sleepers, and Winter (400gsm) for cooler months or people who prefer more substantial warmth. Corner loops are sewn in to anchor the comforter inside a duvet cover and prevent the bunching and shifting that makes most comforters frustrating to use over time.

It arrives pre-washed and packaged in a reusable zipper bag made from recycled water bottles — sized for storage between seasons, so you have somewhere practical to put the one you're not using.

Native Manor Note: Conventional comforters almost universally use either down — which raises traceability and animal welfare questions — or polyester fill, which is petroleum-derived, heat-trapping, and sheds microplastics into your sleep environment with regular use. A 100% bamboo fill is a genuinely different category. The fiber is processed through a closed-loop system, the sourcing is independently certified, and the thermal properties aren't achieved through synthetic loft but through bamboo's natural ability to wick and regulate. For something you spend eight hours under every night, what's inside the shell matters as much as what's on the outside.
